Printer keeps showing 'Replace Toner' message after installing the Cartridge - Brother TN-1030/1050

Reset process

 

1) Press “Menu”

2) Scroll down the menu using arrows and select “Machine Info”

3) Press "OK"

4) Scroll down the menu using arrows and select “Drum reset” or “Reset drum”

5) Press and hold "OK"

6) Display shows Reset or Exit

7) Press “Start”

8) Use the up-arrow and select “11” on the display

9) Press "OK"

10) Accepted should appear on the display and printer is now ready for printing.

 

(Tip: Steps 8 and 9 must be done very quickly; otherwise, the reset process fails)
